Body of Work:
I've been in love with photography ever since my father gave me an old Omega camera for my 10th birthday. It was a cheap plastic camera with a plastic lens, but it was enough to spark in me a lifelong love of photography.
I was born in the beautiful, picturesque city of Oradea, situated only a few kilometers from the border of Romania and Hungary. The time I spent in the city of my birth was dedicated to studies and I immersed myself in books of a wide variety, from the adventure books of Jules Verne and Edgar Rice Burroughs to the early works of Carl Sagan.
As a young adult I taught myself photography by reading everything I could get into my hands. My natural thirst for knowledge led me to formal schooling where I learned the chemical process, studio and darkroom technique. Today however, I shoot everything in digital, and Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom have become my new darkrooms.
